This Breakfast Briefing ‘What Lawyers Want From Their Mediators’ is a practical session to give mediators an insight into the techniques and behaviour that lawyers find most effective in their mediators.

Eileen Carroll and Kate Jackson, both now practising commercial mediators but previously litigators for City firms, will share their experiences from litigation practice and also statistical data as to what lawyers have indicated they want from a mediator. Eileen and Kate will present relevant material from CEDR’s 2010 Mediation Audit and also the findings of a separately conducted survey of senior private practice and in house lawyers.

Eileen and Kate will then suggest practical ways of including these techniques in your mediation practice and how to combine these different techniques to maximum benefit.
